Rosefield Requiem is a narrative-driven visual novel and interactive fiction game developed by Amoriem Labs. Set in the mysterious town of Rosefield, the story centers on investigating the suspicious death of a local pop star while navigating relationships with different characters during the town’s annual festival. The game emphasizes player choice, allowing decisions to unlock different scenes, dialogue paths, character relationships, and multiple endings. This branching narrative structure encourages replayability as players uncover new details about the mystery and shape how the story resolves.

My contributions to the project focused on narrative system integration and dialogue tooling. I worked on integrating the game’s story scripts into the dialogue engine and helped implement the systems needed to support branching narrative paths and player-driven dialogue choices. This included programming updates to the engine so that it could properly manage multiple story branches and outcomes, as well as ensuring that scripts and narrative assets were correctly structured and connected to the appropriate scenes and dialogue events within the game.
